Classes - Wallace Audition Technique Basics

Wallace Audition Technique Basics

In the 6 week on camera basics class the journey of learning how to effectively audition for movies and television begins!

You will be given the tools to discover and explore the specifics of your own personality; the intents that drive you, the people that connect you, the qualities that make you who you are.

In this way, you can begin to bring these unique aspects of you to the words on the page – showing the people in the room what you have to add to the role and breaking yourself out of the pack be simply being who you are in the role – and that’s only the beginning!

You will also learn how to:

• Work with the page in a way that calms your nerves and allows you to let go.
• Think on your feet and deliver strong, creative adjustments
• Listen honestly and become a great reactor.
• Take charge and run the room with power and ease.
• Achieve the perfect balance between preparedness and flexibility.

"As a newcomer to Los Angeles, I was worried I might be hindered by nerves in my first L.A. acting class. Fortunately, it was instantly clear that Craig only wants you to succeed and be more confident. Not since college have I found a class where the teacher is so focused on each individual student while also creating a safe, fun and exciting class environment."

Amy Bartlett

"I’ve been auditioning and acting in movies and television for over 25 years now, but studying with Craig Wallace changed the dynamics of auditioning for me. With clear and simple techniques, I no longer fear the ‘read.’ I am now fully present in all of my auditions. I can’t thank the man enough."

John Fleck

Classes are limited to 9 students to insure that each students individual needs and concerns are addressed and that everyone gets to work (a lot!) every week.
